Now's The Time
Part of Art Week Exeter 2022, Now's The Time: Art Year Zero was a multi-site project initiated by students on the Curation MA at the University of Exeter. Starting from ‘Art Year Zero’, each of the seven curatorial projects engages with a different aspect of the contemporary moment in the wake of Covid-19, and how social assumptions about the way we live and our hopes for the future have changed.
Inspired by I Ching divining sticks, our identity focused around a clock/sun motif that rotated over the course of 60 seconds, to represent the passing of time. In addition to our identity work, we also designed the project website, with accessibility mode for maximum legibility, poster designs for each of the venues and a fold-out poster catalogue.
Tom Trevor – Curator‘Intercity are consistently original and innovative in their brilliant design. They are a joy to work with, always patient and listening to what is needed, even in those intense moments of last-minute decision-making and with the most demanding of clients!’
