Design for a Creative Peninsula

Creative Peninsula is a platform aiming to establish a network of partners across Devon and Cornwall, with a focus on increasing access and exchange between urban, rural and coastal communities, celebrating the region’s distinctive landscape, whilst exploring its complex social histories through community-engaged arts programming and cultural enquiry.

Intercity created the identity for the project, taking inspiration from the Atlantic coastline that surrounds the South West peninsula. Our monogram roundel utilises negative space to indicate both Devon and Cornwall, while the graphic lines represent the region’s connections, both past and present. The scope of work also included design guidelines, various elements for a two-day summit held at The Eden Project, Cornwall, the design and development of the project website, and a digital showcase report.
