Banx + Ranx

Intercity were asked to create an imaginary world for Banx + Ranx, an electronic Caribbean music group and production team. Working with a number of illustrators (Jack Teagle's artwork shown here), we developed an identity for the project, with animal-based characters that visualised Banx + Ranx in the year 3016 – when the earth had become a wasteland and all that was left were human/animal hybrids and the robots that had destroyed humankind. Presented in the form of a comic book, the concept allowed the duo to meet new enemies and allies, while breathing new life into their world.
