Zero Typeface Design
Zero is a free typeface designed by Intercity in 2020 to celebrate the start of the new year and decade. Inspired by the profile of railway tracks, Zero’s modular construction combines rigid angles with geometric curves to create an industrial-yet-rhythmic design. The typeface includes a full set of upper- and lower-case characters, numbers, and selected symbols and ligatures.
In addition to the typeface itself, we also designed a Risograph-printed New Year card, a comprehensive type specimen document and a dedicated microsite where the font can be downloaded for free.
